IKON uses a precise OCR hardware/software system to translate a document's character images into searchable text. To ensure full document integrity is met, we utilize a stringent five-step process:
- Documents are sent through raw OCR
- An error report is generated
- Recorded errors are fixed
- An accuracy report is run
- OCR cleanup is performed (if necessary), comparing original documents against the OCR files to correct misread characters
