IKON's EDI program supports the ASC X12 and UN/EDIFACT standards. The following information describes the transaction sets currently in use:
TS850 Electronic Purchase Order (Inbound/Outbound)
The TS850 establishes the data contents of the Purchase Order Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to provide for customary and established business and industry practices relative to the placement of purchase orders for goods and services.
TS855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment (Inbound)
The TS855 establishes the data contents of the Purchase Order Acknowledgment Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to provide for customary and established business and industry practices relative to a seller's acknowledgment of a buyer's purchase order.
TS810 Electronic Invoice (Outbound)
The TS810 establishes the data contents of the Invoice Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to provide for customary and established business and industry practices relative to the billing for goods and services provided.
TS811 Consolidated Service Invoice/Statement (Outbound)
The TS811 establishes the data contents of the Consolidated Service Invoice/Statement Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. This standard is used in sending or receiving either consolidated or standalone invoices for service arrangements which require processing other than that done for the typical product invoice.
TS857 Shipment and Billing Notice (Inbound)
The TS857 establishes the data contents of the Shipment and Billing Notice Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. This transaction set provides the recipient of a shipment with data for both receipt planning and payment generation. Specifically, this transaction set is appropriate when the shipment data includes terms and item prices and can be used both to plan receipts and generate payment.
TS843 Response to Request for Quotation (Inbound)
The TS843 establishes the data contents of the Response to Request for Quotation Transaction Set for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to fulfill requests from potential buyers for information on price, delivery schedules and other terms from potential sellers of goods and services.
