Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a secure connection between two companies whereby electronic information such as purchase orders and invoices can be exchanged. EDI is a direct, more efficient business-to-business communication designed to eliminate data entry, frees human resources and improves client service.
IKON Office Solutions currently supports the ASC X12 and UN/EDIFACT standards and invites all its customers and suppliers to participate in the EDI program.
