Based on a client-server model, eCopy ShareScan is a centrally managed solution for converting paper documents into more manageable, easily routable, digital formats. The eCopy ShareScan Services Manager does not have to run on a server, all you need is an eCopy-enabled MFP and a networked PC to manage the interaction of the device and your enterprise application connectors.
Installation is easy. The client software is designed to be embedded in the Ricoh Aficio MFP and can be installed from a web browser. The Services Manager and Administrative Console software can be installed on any standard networked PC.
eCopy ShareScan is designed to support multiple MFPs from a single Windows-based computer; the number of devices depends on a number of variables, including expected usage, available CPU and memory size.
