Ricoh DeskTopBinder Professional is a digital document management software solution that enables users to store, organize, view and retrieve any application file or image file directly on their PC desktops. DeskTopBinder lets you easily create up to 100 customized In-Trays which can receive and store any type of paper-based or electronic document from a variety of sources, including scanners, copiers, PCs and fax machines. Digital files stored in DeskTopBinder In-Trays can then be moved, copied, edited, converted or printed. Image files can be rotated, graphically enhanced and even altered by erasing desired areas. Plus, all input, output and function commands can be easily accomplished merely by dragging files to the on-screen Function Palette and dropping them on the function of choice…all without ever having to open the DeskTopBinder application.

Locating and viewing stored document files is even easier through the DeskTopBinder Viewer. Every file and document in your In-Trays can be displayed as a thumbnail image, allowing quick scrolling and examination of multiple documents and image files—regardless of application—without having to open a program.
DeskTopBinder Professional also allows you to:
- Access your e-mail program from within DeskTopBinder, attach a stored document and send it
- Convert image files and scanned printed pages into text files through Optical Character Recognition
- Convert multiple formatted documents into a single format (TIFF, BMP, JPEG and PDF)
- Export files to specific applications without converting the file format
- Create shared file folders giving all networked users and establish authorized access control.
