EFI Digital StoreFront Express is an entry-level version of EFI Digital StoreFront, EFI’s popular web-based file submission tool (also available from IKON), that simplifies print ordering over the Internet or an intranet. Like the full version, EFI Digital StoreFront Express provides print centers, corporate reprographic departments and other print services providers with a ready-to-go, company-branded, transactional website that manages, automates and streamlines the entire print procurement and production process. The differences? While the full version is completely customizable, EFI Digital StoreFront Express is a scaled-down version that offers a few less features and comes out-of-the-box requiring little or no modification. Also, EFI Digital StoreFront Express is a software-only solution that installs on your existing servers and networks; no additional hardware is needed. Plus, EFI Digital StoreFront Express can be upgraded to a full Digital StoreFront as your print needs grow.

EFI Digital StoreFront Express extends the print center’s ability to reach new customers with a robust, interactive Internet presence that is conveniently available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any location and can be customized to reflect your print center's image and branding. The print center-branded web site is intuitive in its design, making it easy for customers to navigate, understand and use. Customers submit documents to the print center by simply choosing the Digital StoreFront Express print driver from their desktop. The document is automatically converted to a PDF file and uploaded to the Digital StoreFront Express server that resides at the print center. Users are then able to view a PDF preview, specify print options from the customized print ticket and place their orders.
EFI Digital StoreFront Express can help optimize print center productivity and profitability by automating workflow. File conversions, PDF previews, job tickets and invoices are all generated without employee interaction. Job and customer information are automatically integrated from the website to the job ticket, and may be uploaded to billing systems for transaction processing. This automation eliminates redundant data entry, improving productivity and reducing the opportunity for data entry errors. Device utilization is optimized through improved ability to view and manage print jobs, thereby increasing the capacity of existing equipment.
