| Overview |
|
PrintLog Accounting Server from Equitrac is an advanced network print tracking solution that enables users to monitor, manage and measure all network document activity. Designed to be installed on most operating systems, PrintLog Accounting Server remotely monitors all print servers on the network (Windows® NT, 2000, Novell® or UNIX) from a single location, thus enabling users to allocate network printing and copying by user, client, project and/or department codes.
PrintLog Accounting Server tracks network printing by requesting account information prior to releasing the job. Data collected is then sent to the server for consolidation and reporting. Every printing device can be configured for various options, including: individual pricing, maximum page printing, and user limits. Professional client billing can be added to recover all document costs and reports can be viewed through the web.
PrintLog Accounting Server also helps simplify the management of printers and offers flexible methods to charge printing costs incurred by users. It consists of a central accounting server that provides maximum scalability for integration and configuration into almost any network environment. With its modular design, PrintLog Accounting Server can be configured to meet specific requirements for many different organizations. With the use of add-on modules, users can expand tracking coverage to additional print servers, track local workstation printing, and display a pop-up for collecting accounting information for both Windows® and Macintosh® users.
PrintLog Accounting Server offers a number of powerful analysis tools, including:
- Individual Device Configuration
- Analysis Toolkit for scenario costing
- Web based reporting for quick analysis
- Over 70 reports for detailed reviewing
