    Overview

    The MP5000B is equipped with output speeds of up to 50ppm and comes with Ricoh’s scan/print option included for RPCS/PCL printing and also offers color scanning. This device has dual 550-sheet paper trays and a 100-sheet bypass tray giving it a standard paper capacity of 1,200 sheets, which can be upgraded with two additional paper trays or a large capacity tray, giving a maximum paper capacity of 4,400-sheets. This device is designed to impress internal and external customers with crisp 600 dpi resolution and 256 gray scale levels.

    Scan Once/Print Many Enables the system to scan an original once and then produce multiple sets without re-scanning, ensuring consistent output quality from the first set to the last.
    Automatic Stackless Duplexing Images two-sided originals one sheet at a time, which enables duplexing up to 999 sets. The MP5000 can handle three sheets simultaneously, which enables the system to maintain rated engine speed while duplexing.
    Preview Functions The Aficio MP5000 Series’ Preview function enables users to view the contents of documents prior to printing, which eliminates costly and time-consuming output errors. Additionally, the Preview function can be used to improve document input accuracy prior to scanning documents. This feature is not available with High Compression PDF
    Auto Paper Sensor The MP5000 features a new Auto Paper Sensor that automatically detects the paper size when paper is added to the paper drawers. Additionally, the manual paper drawer dials have been eliminated.
