| Overview |
|
The MP C7500 is a color MFP designed for intensive color and black & white usage. To satisfy mid- to high-volume customers, the MP C7500 outputs up to 70ppm color and 75ppm in black & white. The machine also features a 3,400-sheet standard paper capacity that can be increased to 7,400-sheets. The MP C7500 supports nearly all of the activities required by general office users, including copying, printing, scanning, faxing and document storage. It also boasts rapid first-copy-out times, which is important in busy, multi-user office environments

Network printing is fully integrated into the MP C7500 system, which is driven by an Intel Pentium-M 1.4GHz CPU, with 1,536MB of RAM and a two-disk array with a total of 320GB (160GB x 2) of storage capacity. Users can print documents using Ricoh RPCS or PCL 5c/XL (emulation) drivers or, optionally, with a true Adobe PostScript 3 driver.

| Application & Environment |
This fully featured MFP produces 75ppm in black & white and 70ppm in color. The MP C7500 is intended for use in large workgroups or departments where it can be shared by multiple users as a networked printer and scanner, and as a walk-up copier and scanning station. In most cases, the MP C7500 can replace multiple existing copiers, printers, faxes and scanners, reducing the overall copy/print footprint and making device management much simpler. The MP C7500 is also ideal for light production environments that have insufficient volume to justify expensive production color devices, yet have the need to produce quality color in a staffed environment. |

Benefits: |
| Network TWAIN Scanning |
Documents or images to be manipulated can also be scanned using the TWAIN Driver, which works in conjunction with any application that supports TWAIN, such as Adobe Photoshop. For scanning hardcopy photographs, users have controls for brightness, contrast, threshold, gamma, and halftone pattern/moiré compensation. |
| Networking and Connectivity |
The MP C7500 is configured with a 10BaseT/100BaseTX interface and a standard RJ-45 plug to connect to the network. In addition, the mainframe comes with a USB 2.0 serial interface to connect to a print server. |
| Seamless Network Integration |
The MP C7500 supports all of the major network protocols and operating systems, including TCP/IP, Novell IPX/SPX, EtherTalk/AppleTalk and SMB/NetBEUI. For customers that run more than one protocol, the MP C7500 features automatic sensing, switching from one protocol to another. |
| Comprehensive Finishing Options |
The MP C7500 offers comprehensive finishing options, including cover insertion and the ability to combine multiple finishing options; for example, users can configure their systems with a 9-bin mailbox on top of the saddle stitch booklet maker or the 50-sheet stapler finisher with a 3000-sheet capacity. For customers that produce longer documents, there’s a 100-sheet stapler finisher with a 3,000-sheet capacity. |

| Hard Disk Drive Data Protection |
The Data Overwrite Security System (DOSS) option destroys temporary data stored on the 320GB HDD by writing over it using one of three government-endorsed overwrite methods, making it impossible to reconstruct images or files. Initially designed to meet government, military and global account requirements for classified document security, DOSS can be used to add value for customers with all types of mission-critical documents that require protection from leaks and unauthorized distribution. |
