Designed to improve workplace efficiencies, IKON DocAccel Express is a server-based scanning solution that runs on many popular multifunctional product (MFP) models. It gives users the ability to scan and convert documents to fully searchable files using optical character recognition (OCR), and send documents to email, fax, folders and archives, all with a simple push of a button.

Based on NSi's AutoStore Express 2.0, IKON DocAccel Express is scalable and offers flexible document management with server-based software. IKON DocAccel Express functions are accessed directly via the MFP control panel, and the software is licensed at the device level with no page count or click charges, making it a very affordable entry-level solution. IKON DocAccel Express is also highly scaleable; MFPs can be added to the network at any time and if more advanced functionality is needed, the system can easily be upgraded to IKON DocAccel, IKON's more fully-featured capture solution powered by AutoStore. IKON DocAccel Express workflow process designer manages capture workflows on the server, so workflows are automatically saved and available when upgrading to IKON DocAccel.

IKON DocAccel Express runs on HP, Kyocera Mita, Ricoh (GlobalScan & SDK/J), Sharp (OSA), and Xerox (WorkCentre Pro) MFPs. Users can email via SMTP or Microsoft Exchange server. In addition, IKON DocAccel Express supports LAN Fax servers including Captaris RightFax and can release images to shared folders or FTP, personal computer, Microsoft SharePoint or IBM Lotus Domino servers. IKON DocAccel Express allows even the first time user to quickly and easily capture, process and route documents to multiple destinations from a single scan.

IKON DocAccel Express is available for order throughout the United States and Canada, with a current retail license price of $600 per connected MFP.
